Low Season Tarn Gite for four People

Autumn, Winter or Spring in South-West France:

We can't guarantee the weather but we can guarantee that you will be warm and cozy in our Tarn gite whether you come in the spring, winter or autumn.

Our architect designed holiday cottage was constructed in 2007. It is very well insultated, has double glazing and is centrally heated with oil filled radiatiors. In addition you can curl up in front of our Morso wood burning stove which you may wish to light even if it isn't particularly cold. The beds all have duvet's on them and we provide extra blankets just in case you need them. We feel confident that you will feel warm and comfortable whatever the weather might be doing outside.

Lots to see and do: Even in the low season you will find that the weather in our region can be sunny and warm. But if it is cold and a bit wet there is plenty to see and do in the area and we can help you plan your visit. If you like history, Toulouse and Albi both have world class museums to visit. If your interests are more 'space age', Toulouse has an excellent space museum and you can visit the Airbus factory and see the A380 in production. If you fancy snow and even skiing, the Pyrenees are near bye. And if you don't mind risking the weather there are plenty of local walks and cycle routes for you to explore

Lavaur
is our local medieval market town - about 4km from us and approximately 45 minutes from Toulouse Blagnac Airport and 90 minutes from Carcassonne Airport. Map showing the gite's/cottage's exact location

Piquetalen is a small rural hamlet on the top of a hill. It is surrounded by woodland and rolling farmland.

Longer rental periods:
