Centre of Lavaur to the Gîte

If you are coming from Lavaur, take the D47 in the direction Labastide St Georges. Cross the bridge and the railway line. Just after the boulangerie on the left take the D15 (also on the left) in the direction of Briatexte. Continue straight on the D15 which eventually turns into the Route de Labastide, go up the hill and at the top of the hill go around a steep bend to the right. Do not take the first turn to the right sign posted to Piquetalen, Chemin de Piquetalen. Continue past it. On the right you will see a house on the corner, then a field and then our house. You will see a wooden chalet in our garden. On the fence by the entrance, you will see a Clévacances sign. Our house number is 645 and you will see this marked on our letter box.

Toulouse to the Gîte

If you are coming from Toulouse or from Toulouse airport follow signs to Albi to take you on to the A68 motorway. Just as you leave the ring road and enter the A68 you will find a toll station. The motorway toll is €1.30.

Turn off the A68 at exit 7 and take the D12 (in the direction of Giroussens and Graulhet), then the D631. At the roundabout take the D87 in the direction of Lavaur. Go past the turn off to the village of Ambres and remain on the road for about a kilometer. Just after the Auberge des Pommiers on the right, take the road on the left signposted to Sainte Cecille and Belair. Continue straight on this road, which is in parts quite windy before it begins to climb a hill. You will reach a T junction at the top of the hill. At the T junction turn right on to the Route de Labastide (the D15) and go past the water tower. Continue on the Route de Labastide (D15) until you reach a cluster of houses. We are the last house on the left. Our house number is 645 and you will see this marked on our letter box. The Clévacnaces sign is on the fence but difficult to see until you reach the house. If you come to a small road signposted Piquetalen and called Chemin de Piquetalen on your left, you have gone slightly too far. Turn around and we are the first house after the field on your right (with the wooden chalet in the garden).
